What a dynamic message of Clarity by Pastor Sameh Maurice.
So easy for so many years as a Christ seeking person.
So easy for so many turned off to the Church body as a whole.

A Panoramic view of this message:
1. We are under a Covenant
2. We are Outside of the Matrix, The World Software if you will
3. We are not Residents but Travelers.

The net result; blurry almost indistinguishable lines. The world is a ginormous embedded system of contracts. As a matter of fact I’m reviewing a new one as I write this message.
The people I may be entering into contract with seem honorable, however:
Contracts are written to maximize rights and minimize responsibilities,
Covenants are written to maximize responsibilities and minimize rights.

I had written a contract with God while God has written a covenant covering me.
No wonder I am not always enjoying and experiencing as blessed a life as I could be.

Are you ‘loaded’ with the software of this world? The makers of the movie ‘The Matrix’ – massive commercial success by the way – have always had a touched nerve with me and many others. Once again my favorite author John Eldredge touches on this in Waking the Dead.
 
Neo takes the red pill; Lucy steps through the wardrobe; Aladdin rubs the lamp; Elisha prays that the eyes of his servant would be opened; Peter, James, and John follow Jesus up to the Mount of Transfiguration. And all of them discover that there is far more going on here than meets the eye. The film The Matrix is a parable, a metaphor-and though a dark story, it is far closer to reality and to your life than you probably have been led to believe…..
…we live in a far more dramatic, far more dangerous story than we ever imagined. The reason we love The Chronicles of Narnia or Star Wars or The Matrix or The Lord of the Rings is that they are telling us something about our lives that we never, ever get on the evening news. Or from most pulpits. This is our most desperate hour.
